Windy City Women took the 6th Annual Charity Event to the suburbs this year. The event was held at Joe’s Live in Rosemont on October 12, 2017. With a whole new committee in place, Michele Altobello and Nikki Liddy (co-founders) were thrilled with the results of what this team did.

The Alzheimer’s Association is the world’s leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer’s care, support and research. Their vision is a world without Alzheimer’s. More than 5 million Americans have this horrific disease, which is the most common form of dementia. It is something that almost all can relate to as we are most sure you all know someone that suffers from it. Sari Eilon is the specialist with Alzheimer’s Association that so graciously worked with us. It is truly heartbreaking to hear the stories of those suffering from it.

The WCW Team took the event to a new level. With the 50/50 raffle, silent auction, candy bar, photo booth and the newly added levels of sponsorship, a whopping $25,000 was raised for our charity. A special thank you to Cathie Muraski, Competitive Piping, who, once again, did an excellent job with the silent auction. Cathie’s passion and hard work for this organization is greatly appreciated. It was by far, our biggest event yet. There is nothing like the construction industry and HVAC. We are all hard working people and definitely have the biggest hearts. WCW can’t express the amount of gratitude for the more than generous contributions from companies in our industry.
