Michele Altobello
Treasurer and Founder
I have been lucky enough to work in the HVAC industry for over 30 years. I started out as a controller at Fleming Hanson Sales, a large equipment rep firm, for 20 years. From there, I moved into the contracting side and was the controller for BOC Heating and Air Conditioning for 7 years. And now, I am the controller of JC Power & Control, temperature control electricians. I absolutely love what I do. I feel I have a lot to offer having worked as both a rep and contractor. I am very fortunate to have met and worked with so many wonderful men and women over the years.
My role as treasurer of Windy City Women gives me a great pride as I contribute my time and talents to the women in the industry I love. On a personal level, I am the mother of two beautiful children. Both are very successful in their careers.

Secretary
I graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Shortly after graduating, I became a Project Engineer at Windy City Representatives where I am still currently employed. Working for this rep firm, I have had the opportunity to interact with a wide variety of people in the industry – engineers, architects, contractors, manufacturers and other rep firms.
My role as secretary of Windy City Women gives me the opportunity to use my talents to help successfully grow this amazing organization. I am grateful for the friendships I have made since joining this wonderful group of women and look forward to the many friendship to come.
