Windy City Women hosted their 5th Annual Charity Event supporting Feed My Starving Children. Thanks to your generosity, we raised $22,000 that will provide meals for starving children around the world.

September 8, 2016 marked the day of the Windy City Women annual Charity Event. This event was the 5th fundraiser hosted by these remarkable women. Feed My Starving Children is a Christian non-profit organization that helps turn hunger into hope with your own two hands. Volunteers pack over a million meals a year to help starving children around the world.
The WCW girls looked amazing in their blinged out t-shirts. It was so much fun being able to pick out all of the members from the crowd. A special thank you to the committee of girls that helped orchestrate this fundraiser. Cathie Muraski, Competitive Piping, put in endless hours with the silent auction. It’s a wonderful feeling to know that hard work pays off. Enough money was raised through this to feed thousands of starving children.
The event was held at Joe’s on Weed in Chicago. With over 200 attendees, it was quite a success. With all of the generous donations and sponsorships, $22,000.00 was raised for Feed My Starving Children. That was enough for 100,000 meals! Just think of how many lives we have saved and how many smiles we have put on those children who are so much less fortunate than ourselves. To date, this has been the most successful charity event yet. Hours and hours of hard work and the wonderful people in our industry it what got us to that number.
As we put another charity event on the books, The Windy City Women hold their heads high, stand proud, and continue to help those in need.
We want to thank each and every one of you that participated in this event for it is YOU that make the WCW Charity event a huge success.
